Occasionally clients want to better understand where the "sources this period" number is pulling from in Kyzen.

  • All data on the Website tab/section is from your Google Analytics instance and you can view each traffic source under the Traffic Sources table.

  • Our source for Google advertising campaigns is google / cpc.

The Traffic Sources table in Google Analytics provides information on how users arrive at a website. It shows the sources of traffic to a website, such as organic search, paid search, referral traffic, social media, email, and direct traffic.

Here is a breakdown of what each traffic source means:

  • Organic Search: This represents traffic that comes from search engine results pages (SERPs) that are not paid advertisements.

  • Paid Search: This represents traffic that comes from paid search advertising, such as Google Ads or Bing Ads.

  • Referral Traffic: This represents traffic that comes from other websites that link to your website.

  • Social Media: This represents traffic that comes from social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

  • Email: This represents traffic that comes from email marketing campaigns.

  • Direct Traffic: This represents traffic that comes from users who type the website URL directly into their browser or who have bookmarked the website.

The Traffic Sources table also provides information on the number of sessions, bounce rate, average session duration, and pages per session for each traffic source. This information can help website owners and marketers understand which sources of traffic are most valuable and which ones need improvement. By analyzing the Traffic Sources table, website owners and marketers can optimize their marketing efforts and improve their website's performance.
